Knowledge Exchange Manager

A fresh opportunity to play a strategic role in aquaculture innovation

We are seeking dynamic and inspiring individuals to join the SAIC Board. They will help drive the future success of aquaculture innovation and technology adoption by companies in Scotland and beyond.

We work with a consortium of over 270 businesses, universities, research institutes and other aquaculture stakeholders. Our agenda is to reduce the environmental footprint and increase the economic impact of aquaculture.

The current vacancies are for leading industry professionals who are actively involved in the Scottish aquaculture sector.

What skills, experience and mindset are we looking for?

We need people with a diverse range of skills and backgrounds so that our Board can work effectively. The climate we foster across our organisation is one of support, agility, integrity and collaboration.

What do we expect from our Board members?

In addition to attending quarterly Board meetings, Board members are expected to:

• attend a minimum of two events per year in their Board capacity

• promote SAIC to other businesses within the industry and across the public sector

• champion the work of SAIC within their own business, academic and international networks

Board appointments are for a three-year period and are not remunerated, but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

If this sounds of interest, we would love to hear from you! Please send your CV and covering letter detailing why you have applied for the role and what your experience, knowledge and networks would bring to it, to Benedikte Ranum by noon on Friday 30 September 2022.
